What do we Do? At Sew Original, we firstly design, digitise and embroider stunning illustrations and patterns directly onto high quality card stock.

Created in early 2023 out of the passion for embroidery and wishing to do something a bit different than the status quo. Sew Original recognized an opportunity to create bespoke cards directly embroidered onto quality card, leading to its formation.

From initial concept to finished card, each unique design is carefully selected by us before digitising begins to form the cards. This is how we achieve the stunning results.

Digitising is the process of creating digital stitch files on a computer from artwork that are then uploaded to an embroidery machine before being stitched out.

This process can also be especially challenging as card stock doesn’t have the same forgiving flexibility that normal fabric does. However, once a digitised file is perfected and optimised for card, it is good to go. We then save it and use it multiple times to embroider a large number of duplicate cards.

We furthermore take pride in sourcing premium materials that enhance the tactile experience of our cards. Furthermore we meticulously choose every element, from rich, smooth card to vibrant threads, to ensure your card stands out from the crowd.

We additionally also offer customizable options to allow you to add personal touches. This makes each card truly one-of-a-kind. These options include selectable colour choices and personalised text.

Sew Original aim to add new designs regularly and build a collection over time that will provide something for everyone, It’s what we do. As of 2024, we have nearly 50 different designs.

The collections range from botanical and wildlife designs, through to artistic and spiritual designs. Likewise we also have cards themed around love, celebration and Christmas.
